August 20th and 21st, 2011 at the Hayward, CA. Zucchini Festival, Phil "Fang" Volk, former original core member of the legendary rock band Paul Revere & the Raiders, who garnered 23 hit singles during their heyday. At the Zuke Fest, Fang premiered his new group, featuring his famous wife Tina Mason, star of Dick Clark's 60's TV show, "Where The Action Is," and Capitol Records recording artist. They were joined by their two beautiful and multi-talented daughters, Kelly & Jessica. The 2 day event attracted over 20,000 attendees, making this show a very historical and exciting event. Fang performed a great variety of songs from the 60's, 70's and 80's along with all the Raider hits he was involved with and recorded back in the day.
@"FANG" Great to see that U'r still rockin'. I saw P.R. & R a few times at the Valley Music Theatre in Woodland Hills, around 65-66 or so................ My question 4 U is: Do U still have the white VOX PHANTOM bass? If so, any "guess-timate" of it's approx. value? If U have it, do U still actively play it? Thanks, & Keep on rockin' on!
