@Yajblackburn Make up your mind. My Yamaha Zuma was made in Japan. It says it 25 times all over it!!

I have a 2011 stock 50cc Zuma and have had it up to 50mph many times. I am installing a Divinci pipe, clutch and cutting out the trottle body so it will turn all the way open. Was told I should be able to take a Zuma with 1 70cc kit on it.

@Yajblackburn actully the GY6 is the chinese clone and its a nice little four stroak....i got a linhai witch is the chinese sister company of yamaha and my 150 is very close to perfect.....now i will admit a yamaha or a honda will dominate any day but chinese scooters they sell now arent half bad if you know how to fix all the minor prolems

How much do you weight if you dont mind me asking? Not real sure that youll get the fast of acceleration/top speed if you are the size of an average adult.

This scooter had a little over 1,000 miles when I got it. It sat for 3 years outside and didn't run. I think you better check your odometer, it's prabably in kilometers and not miles. I've worked on hundreds upon hundreds of scooters and refuse to work on the cheap scooters because they are junk. They clone the GY6 motor for a reason, but the quality just isn't there. Yamaha and Honda are Japanese based companies....they also have factories in Australia, does that make them Austrailian?
