JASON PRIESTLEY: The show stands on its own, and I think, I think that, I think that if they keep bringing back characters from the old show, it just gonna, muddy the waters.

REPORTER: And thats why when 90210 producers approached Jason Priestley about the show, he only agreed to direct and not return as Brandon.

JASON (Directing): and, ACTION!

REPORTER: Over the years, Priestley has built a steady and impressive resume of directing credit. But, that didnt stop his Beverly Hills, 90210 pal, Jennie Garth (a.k.a Kelly Taylor) from trying to change his mind about joining her on the CW redux

REPORTER: You have no inkling? None, whatsoever to come back

JASON/JENNIE (same time): No/ You just

JENNIE: You do, because I saw you, when we were in that scene you stood right next to me just like old timeslike you wanted to be in it. I could tell. (Jason laughs)

REPORTER: They sort of kind of wrote you out when they gave uh, her son (Jason: right) Dylan, as the dad

JASON: Right, right, so you know, so look, you know, so

REPORTER: Do you feel slided? [Jason: you knowIAb (about to say absolutely)]

JENNIE: I think we can do a paternity test (bites nail) Like one of those DNA things (Jasons reaction is classic )

REPORTER: Priestleys not the only actor taking a spin behind the lens

No he said, "muddy the waters," an idiom which means: "If somebody muddies the waters, he or she makes the situation more complex or less clear."

HaHa! Even Jeanie wants him back - Brandon needs to come back. I was so mad when they made Kel's baby Dylan's. I love Dylan and all but I prefer him with Brenda. I also heard that they approached Brian to come back, but he gave the same reason as Brandon - a feesible storyline. Donna should be back in a few weeks-please let her and David still be married, i'll be so mad if they broke up. Old school 90210 was classic-I only watch now for Silver(cuz she has old school ties), Naomi/Oz, Adrianna/Ty.

Jason and Jennie have so much chemistry. I think that's why i loved them the most as a couple on the show. They are real buddies.
