I'm for single-payer universal health care. But I hate it so much when people contrive getting arrested so that they will look martyred. Just wait you turn, for goodness sake; you'll have your say. It's a public meeting, on public property, suppossedly doing the publics' business, yet they fail to hold truely public hearings, so it's a Citizen's DUTY to speak up to power. You act as if these people barged in on a private meeting on private property doing private business. So ignorant.

I know that revolution is romantic, but do you want results or not? If wearing a bandana on your nose and breaking store-front windows is all you've got in mind, then keep up the ineffective tactics. There's a time for being rowdy, but it's not often. The sooner you learn to argue and fight while keeping yourself beyond reproach, the sooner you will see the changes you ostensibly want.

@DrWizardMan Scratch that, I meant Switzerland for the WHO, which too is Democratic Socialism. I do agree that the Obama Plan is crap. If anything, the Obama Plan was written by the Insurance Companies to force Millions of People into buying Health Insurance and if they don't comply, the IRS can fine them either $2,000 or 2% of their annual income, whichever is greater. I would take a Single Payer System over this Fascist Obama Plan any day and I'm vehemently opposed to Socialism.

@DrWizardMan I know and the World Health Organization is based out of Sweden, which is a pretty Democratic Socialist country. They rank the countries based on 5 criteria points. More of their ranking has to do with the EQUALITY of health care than actual Quality. If a country gives most of their country excellent health care and a minority of people good health care, WHO lowers their ranking substantially.

The problem is not just insurance, but lawyers as well.
