That is so classic. Just about every ALF 900 and 1000-series pump in my area back in the early-to-mid '70's had a 6V-53 in it. Plus when I lived in Philadelphia, most of their apparatus had 6V-53's in them, including Seagrave and ALF ladders plus a fleet of GMC tilt-cab/Pierce pumps. Every time I saw one of those old ALF's I always heard the accompanying fast idle of a 6V-53. The look of a 900-series ALF and the sound of a 6V-53 was just synonomous with each other.

Another nice video! How sweet it is. I love how that "Q" does it's thing and drowns out that "so popular" electic siren. Do you know what road this is? Thanks.
