That was awesome! RIP the Wetlands--we're losing the Knit too... but, it's only moving to Brooklyn which I'd rather go to anyway (over Manhattan). Cheaper food & booze and you can usually find free parking.
cool. i saw them around the same time in San Jose, CA. that was a weeeeeeeeiiiiiiirrrrrd show. Angelo was all, "did you vote for Hitler, Gore or Bugs Bunny...? yeah, i voted for Bugs Bunny too!" they were really kinda dark that night and looked like they coulda started some shit if anyone was dumb enough to provoke. shitty venue and shitty turnout. good time, though, and i bought Dirty's fonkay release that night.... fuckin' San Jo ~ whatcha gonna do!?!?:D i was SO excited to see this show....
what do you want to know???? i've been a fishbone soldier [souljah] since 1996.... i spoke with Angelo a few times, Norwood once, John McNight [filler guy, now permanent, since about '99] once and John Steward once just this past february....
sorry, but it's fuckin' weak. there's like 2, maybe 3 gems in it and the production is SHIT. ever since the new lineup, it's been more contrived and it seems like "they" are doing less what they WANT [Angelo and Norwood, anyway]. that lame cover of a cover [Changes]? puhLEAZ.... Angelo [and with Dirty, prolly] could've written a better song than that. shit, they didn't even do it THEIR way.... all good things must come to an end, i suppose. the 'Bone will always have profound meaning to me.

glad to check this band out. Big fan of rocky in suicidal tendencies. Are fishbone still going?
