Video Games : Xbox 360 Launch

READ ME FIRST: In November of 2005, I was lucky to have two Xbox 360 systems ready for me, from two different stores. One system was for me, the other for my nephews up in New York. After I picked up the second one, I told my friend Pat, the store manager, to tell me on film that "he didn't have the system for me" -- so, this was all a goof, where I faked my death in the end.

Yes, the migraine headache in the beginning was 100% legit -- and my nephews did indeed think that I DID NOT get their Xbox 360. The real kicker is that some people on the Xbox Live network, without fully watching the video, thought that I had indeed died -- and a lot of havoc was centric to this stupid film. Watch my academy award acting at the end -- and also notice the last thing I utter is the word "ZELDA" -- on the eve of the Xbox 360 launch, while I am 'dying'.

Ahhh, the launch.

The day of the launch, it was worth standing in line all the night.

Well, not really.

My Xbox360 has been refurbished 4 times.

@1Adr1an6 Wow, 4 refurbs? They had some SERIOUS quality control problems. I heard that original Piss-3's (PS3's) are having problems now too.

Shit man I so wanted to go to that xbox 360 zero hour launch but the only thing is that I would of only been 9 at the time I'm 15 now and I'm going to go to the zero hour launch for the next xbox anyway how long did it take to actually purchase the xbox from waiting in the line up

@highstona777 The time wasn't too bad as both systems were allocated and pre-paid; now, the ORIGINAL Xbox launch was a different story -- I thought I could just walk into Wal*Mart at 11:45 PM and get one -- they only had 50, and I was customer number 65, so me and 14 other mooks walked out, heads down, moping "we didn't get our Xbox..." Too funny. I wish I had filmed it. I hope you enjoy your Xbox 1080 - or whatever it's going to be called. LOL!

@123viperdude No. The premise here was to fool my nephews that I didn't get the SECOND Xbox for them (the headache was actually legit, and obviously the heart attack was my attempt at acting, thought I think I did a fairly good job acting out the anger rant). My nephews did follow up the next day saying "sorry you had that headache, and thanks for trying to get our Xbox" so they were indeed surprised on receipt.

How dare they snipe me in Halo. I should take it back.
