It's not about Pete Tong.
The title, "It's All Gone Pete Tong" is a cockney rhyming slang phrase the means, "it's all gone wrong". Considering the fact that Pete Tong is also a dj, there is a bit of double-entendre there.
The film is not about Pete Tong. In fact, Pete Tong is featured playing himself in the very beginning.
