Life can easily get so busy we forget to live it and enjoy it slowly. We end up living other people's lives forgeting to prepare ourselves for our final destination, a meeting with our Lord. A reminder in hopes of learning and perhaps shaping a better behaved society.

  • Salam Alaikom, I am a muslim elhamdellah, I speak arabic but I have hard time reading it because I am living in Canada since my childhood, I am working on my arabic but in the mean time, I would like to read a book about el sera el nabaweyah ( life of muhamad pbuh) which book in english would you suggest me. Thank you in advance Jazak Allah kol kheir.

  • @Wafa2truth --- The Sealed Nectar - or Ar Raheek al Mukhtum....this is the best translated one in English that I know of.

  • I studied and was very involved in Budhism long before Islam and like you said it was a route to self delusional happiness i.e. offered no real fruit just the illusion of it. Bhuddism not claiming a creator or a prophet should not be a statement made with pride as if it is something good because it doesnt believe. Belief is far better than disbelief because while disbelief gives you nothing (obviously) belief gives you great potential and in fact is truth to millions of various faiths

I am very much Buddhist myself, so I will respond to that comment (forgive me; I have not met a Muslim (or militant atheist) who could sustain a flawless argument). You equate Buddhism's absence of clinging to a concept presented by a multi-interpretational scripture as "disbelief". That is obviously wrong and suggests you have not studied Buddhism well. Buddhism recognises belief as unhelpful and empty. You confirm it by mentioning "millions of various faiths" having "truth".

  • @MesMorial - If I said various faiths have truths I meant where they are in agreement or the underlying common denominator of calling to a single source diety. The rest is man made where people are told to call upon the single and only source diety via other additional means such as good luck charms, omens or physical idols. Idols can be a spirit, a person, any object given diety atributes and at times a type of belief. There is only One true God for all creation and manmade concepts are astray.

  • Ive listened to this so many times and every time it sounds more n more beautiful...SubhanAllah...

    Very good speaker...

  • @Wafa2truth salaam brother - Ar Raheek al Makhtum is the best book i know of, it won an award for being the best written seerah of Rasulallah (SAW). Wasalaam.

  • @imregrettin

The single deity which you are referring to seems to be nature, and not Allah.

  • @imregrettin

You mention that all religions share truth in that they worship a single deity. Think of Greek mythology. That is a selective argument and since people turn to other polytheistic religions (e.g. New Age) to fill the same spiritual/emotional/existentialist void that Islam is promoted to fulfil, the argument is nullified.

  • Mashallah a very emotional and moving video. May Allah reward those involved in the production. Its a real eye opener, we just forget about death and are too focused on the dunya, Jazakallah khair
