How about Hawaii? Why English is taught in Hawaii schools? Why now Hawaiians can speak English? Why Hawaiians accept and live in American way even though they still have their kind of cultural inherited?

Why not the States let Hawaii be independent or let them establish their republic or autonomous region? Why not the States decide to ban Engl;ish in their schools but let them get educated purely in Hawaiin? Hawaii was not historically part of the States and only became the part of the States after the massive expansion of the States in 19th Century? Why not let them free?
