Great film by the underrated director Mark Pellington. All the performances are great(Gere, Linney, and especially Will Patton). Its spooky, eerie, and very well made. Check out the "history" of Mothman after you see the film.

  • Thx for posting this 'teaser' :)

  • @phix95 no problem

  • I live about one mile from where the mothman was first sighted.

  • So, any cool stories...

  • This is such an unsettling and powerful scene. Will Patton is a great actor, look at the emotion he shows at 1:05. The disturbing implications of the concept of a mothman, this prophetic, profoundly unsettling character who's intentions aren't clear make this a good story.

  • This is one truly scaring film. No blood, no guts, just pure psychological terror. Really well done.

  • Like 'Blade Runner', another great film that the critics shredded. Even 'The 6th Sense' hasn't changed them. It's the reason I never listen to mainstream critics. If it's anything taking a less than tongue-in-cheek approach to the paranormal...good luck with getting a realistic review from those dolts. 'Mothman Prophecies' continues to amaze me...I have watched it no less than 20 times and I always look forward to seeing it again. I can't say that about any other film. Thanks for the piece!

  • I'm just addicted to this movie. I've watched it numerous times and never get bored. So intense and mind-confusing movie that raises a lot of good questions. It is based on real life events that took place in the late sixties in Point Pleasant WV, and the great late ufologist John A. Keel was the man to investigate those weird occurrences.

  • @Terarex92 I believe its the first song in the Score soundtrack by tomandandy. There are 2 soundtrack discs. The 2nd is what you want.

  • the best video in all the history of hollywood

  • @TheDONBOY13 sucks to be you

  • @Terarex92 download the soundtrack, it's in there

  • I've been looking for the song in this scene. That crazy bass loop that kicks up at 0:50. If you know what song, and post here, you're my hero.

  • The fiend!
