When I went to Scranton last June the hotel I stayed at was right next to WNEP-TV's studio.

WNEP hasn't changed much. Noreen does look classy in the white slacks and red suit jacket.

Is there more to the theme than the mere few seconds that we hear in the intro? I know they sometimes run an extended loop of the "stinger" bed at the end of the newscast when they need to stretch for time. Just wondering if there's a whole "WNEP NewsWatch 16 Song" out there somewhere, like the hokey "Move closer to your world, my friend" from WPVI's Action News.

I see why WNEP have been a powerhouse for 30 years. The open is simple and it's not over the top. Best open in the Central & NE Pennsylvania. And love the music!!! WBRE & WYOU can't ever beat WNEP for shit!
