http://investing.meetup.com/21 - New York Investing meetup organizer Daryl Montgomery predicts gold will sell off when it hits a 1000 just as oil did when it hit 100. Long term predictions are given. Filmed at the February 13, 2008 meeting. For more on this topic, please read our blog, "The Helicopter Economics Guide to Investing" at: http://nyinvestingmeetup.blogspot.com.
Daryl Montgomery is brilliant, it is said gold trades highly correlated to 30year bond

as much as I would love to think that, the very first thing he said in the video is there are time periods where it's great to be in stocks, and then another time period where it's great to be out of them...
right now, we are 8 years into a time when "owning" gold and silver and oil is a great investment. With 400% returns in silver and oil since then, great returns. For me, the numbers point to another decade of gains here, but I hope you are right, while I am wrong!!!

I suspect the run that Gold, Silver and Oil have had has finished....if the credit crisis is over and the confidence has returned to stock investors, the stock market will rise as will the value of the US dollar and hence the money scared people put in oil, gold and silver will come out...confidence will put money back into stocks and no longer into gold silver and oil....what do you think?
