Snowy Owl Juvenile

This little one was dropped off by the Dept of Wildlife. She was found in a pasture being "nuzzled" by a cow and obviously been grounded for a while. Mal nourished,dehydrated,broken leg and covered in feather lice and mites , but will be releaseable when leg heals.

@MrRelhed Let's hope for the best. She does seem less heavily barred than most female Snowy Owls I've seen, though. Will you give her a name soon?

@Mazryonh I will have to search for that one-sounds interesting.We really hope to release her (seems that a broken leg is her biggest problem)but if worst comes to worst , I guess it would be up to Blizzard .. or rather the little girl if she accepts him
