@supercrapnstuff11 Then what about Mario Bros. from 1983? That's the first game to use Mario's name, and they didn't celebrate that 25th anniversary. Nintendo Power did talk about DK's 30th, though.

@AwesomeFassad the only problem with that statement is "Mario" is not the original name of the arcade game Donkey Kong...the persons name is "Jumpman" so DK is 30, its a later edit that caused "Mario" appear in the character roll if you let the arcade machine sit for a while...
