  • i am wondering if you could help me i had a pre-oiled airfilter and i didnt no it was so i olied it up, and obviously it had twice the right amount and oil has gone right down into my carb will i need to strip it down ?

  • @brandonb118 Great question and don't fret, I have done the exact same thing! My suggestion is this....I would re-clean the airfilter, clean out the air box with a clean rag and contact cleaner, and wipe off as much of the carb as you can. Air filter oil is generally a chemical that will not hurt or damage the engine. But you will need to run it for a sufficient amount of time to insure that any air filter oil will be burnt out of the fuel mixture. Let me know how it goes!

  • can you really use peanut butter as a sealer?

  • @bsavage14 Um no not really. Joke-outtake! LOL If you do let me know if it works. That was just the color of the product I was using at the time!

  • @MXwrencher Hey man, i put 10w.40 oil in my kx250f, and i was just wondering if i could use the same stuff to use as air filter oil. I have been doing this for the past few month and all is good. Please tell me if i should keep doing this, cuz where i live they dont sell air filter oil. I also use dish washing liquid to clean it.
