This is demonstration of the final prototype of my recent project: the iPhone-controlled 3pi WiFi Robot. A detailed description of the system can be found under my original video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZuUU7E9sfoY). The goal was to create a novel interface for controlling the 3pi robot from Pololu (http://bit.ly/aoVY68), i.e. translating information from the accelerometer in the iPhone/iPod touch into movement.

  • I have a ad hoc wifi question that has stumped me for days now. Could you email me if you have the chance? I would love to see if you know the answer! Thanks... My name is Paul Rogers

  • @photographersreelad Hi Paul, I'd be glad to try and help. What is your email?

  • See 1:42 for beginning of the demo.

  • @drollenCU, I find this fascinating. Would you perhaps be interested in a short (paid) project for a very basic interfacing of an iPhone app to a microcontroller, using the RN-XV module (the new release from RN - believe it's similar to the WiFly, but in Xbee footprint)? If so, shoot me an email at ajohansson1981 at gmail dot com, and we can discuss details.
