  • I can definitely appreciate the good stuff in Constantine but I think this movie wasn't as satisfying for me as it should have been because of the movie "The Prophecy." That movie made what I envision when I think of Angels and Demons are for me probably the same way Constantine did for you.

The sequels to prophecy were a joke though.

  • I found prophecy to be really boring. But hte second one was fantastic.

  • this along with v for vendetta is one of the only movies that is so far removed from the source material, yet i love them

  • No V is too close ot be seen as something different. and it fails completely and utterly. teh only other film so far removed is Wanted.

  • Im not sure if it was because of the shitty writing or Keanu Reeves crappy Clint Eastwood impersonation but I found this movie painful to watch. It just came across as a really stupid movie

  • Hey hey wow wow wow wow hey hey hey wow wow hey wow!!!!!! xD That cracked me up!

  • @blowshimselfupdude to me this is way better than supernatural, because the plot is boring in supernatural

  • How did that just happen? What an anamoly...

  • WHERE IS FRANCIS LAWRENCE ALREADY? mwhahahahahah! I have some workable ideas that might be of interest. Ancient Nineveh and the stories of Asmodeus would make an incredible sequel.

  • WHERE IS FRANCIS LAWRENCE ALREADY? mwhahahahahah!

  • It started me into liking Hellblazer.

  • @Jayjon81 Same. I loved the comic and the movie, but both differently.

  • I'm pretty sure that I read an article with a DC Editor that said that the movie version of Constantine is a possible alternate Earth version who grew up in L.A... but who knows... I liked the movie either way. The essence of the character is the same, and somewhat more subdued than the comic version, who's right in your face a bit more. And in the movie version, Chas is an apprentice, versus the comic, where he's his life-long best friend... and in the movie he dies, unlike the comic.

  • comic and the moive... i could care less how close this movie is to the orginal story. This is a cool movie, i loved it
