  • I don't know what really happened but if he is really innocent, he should be released.

  • @nebula88 because both received a plea deal, ironically joe the dude serving life had been offered the same deal first since he had not done the actual stabbing, turned it down and his so called friends took the deal the moment it was offered, now both of them are off having children. not to say those 2 should not have ever gone free but considering they were the ones who killed him while this one her just beat him it seems pretty ironic.

  • THIS MAN SHOULD BE FREE!!!!!

  • MY GUESS IS. THEY ONLY WANT TO PUT U BEHIND BARS AND TAKE YOUR MONEY OR WHATEVER ELSE YOU HAVE.

  • ironically the usa is the only country in the world that has the age of sexual consent at 18, the second highest is canada, england and ireland at 16. most countries allow it between ages 12-16, no country that has legal alcohol denies anyone over 19 except the usa which is 21 and is the only country that can deny people under 15 to buy violent games yet is the only country anywhere on earth currently trying juveniles to adult standards. so to americans they only say things when it suits them.

  • Shon McHugh was 15yrs. And therefore tried as a juvenile.

Alfredo Velez cut a deal, pleading guilty to manslaughter charges, and therefore got a shorter sentence.

  • this guy is not a danger to society, and is a great example of persons behind bars who could not cost the state money, but add to the economy with his life. .... it costs 4 million dollars to keep a man behind bars from age 18- whenever, so if he has served soooo many years already, let's just accept his apology, and let him go...

  • sad lesson to be learned by all stupid teens...before they end up like him.

  • Alfredo Velez was 18 at the time, why wasn't he charged as an adult? And why wasn't McHugh charged for murder?

  • smithy2402 nlisten yu fuckin irish cunt i yu don't know what you are talking about first of all now if your family member was locked up you wouldn't be talking shit now would you so get a fuckin life and stop judging people i bet you acted stupid and dumb when you were a teenager
