The mosquito species (Aedes communis or Ae. punctor) in the video does NOT spread malaria or dengue fever, although it may theoretically spread some viral diseases. Music: "Mosquito" by Legato (from YouTube Audio swap). The stuttering video clips were filmed with a Canon Powershot SX200 and a +12 diopter close up lens (a lens from an Elmo Super 8 camera). I saw mosquitos in Lithuania.
I got really frightend that I might get malaria.
But then I didn't notice getting bit over 10 times.
I became itchy but I got no disease.

@bpunlimited There isn't malaria in Lithuania or other parts of northern Europe, Europe is mostly free of malaria.

@hipatialex So far no change in the climate here, and I don't think tropical mosquitos could live in almost subarctic conditions.
