Yes. Actually, I often think about that--and I would definitely add California's missions to that list. I could never understand tourists' fascination with such horrible places.
If someone wanted to turn any of those places into peace monuments, I'd support that, too, 100%.

I lived in SF all my life, born and raised... and i want it to be the way it is, because its about history. and i kno the majority would agree who has lived in SF.
