  • hello people,

funny, i've never looked at that video or the comments but it seems that i have to explain/defend myself. Djordje asked me to record an example of fast psychobilly bassplaying with different effects, that's what it is, no more no less. i wasn't supposed to play a 12 bar blues, rockabilly or swing and add cool slaps on it, he already have great players doing that between Ryan, Nicolas and the others . it's not how i'd play with a band, there's really too much going on. cheers

  • There's a whole lotta sand down below. I love how some people have to over compensate for their shortcomings by insulting others. Go hug it out with Ken Smith.

  • my favourite Band that thomas has worked with called the astro zombies has some awesome bass playing....actually kings of nuthin kicks ass! and he's not doing all the wierd shit you see him do in this video.....this video is awesome because he's showing crazy speed and agressive playing....psychobilly.....if you're a slapper you know what psychobilly is and there couldn't be a better player to portray psychobilly in a couple of minutes.....great player!!

  • i'll agree with both sides of this arguement that's been going on here.....depending on how you're looking at it.....if you're looking for a cool bass groove, there's a bit too much pull offs and slapping going on here......if you're looking for unique technique (cool rap line)......then this video is pretty cool!.....Djordje is trying to show different styled bass players who have made a good name for themselves, and thomas definitly works hard enough to earn a spot here.......

  • Pity you cant hear the note's . Maybe he should have learned the drums

  • Your no joe fick thats for sure

  • I think speed is not necessary...we have to feel the bass..

  • its like an orgasm over and over again >:) love it
