They are correct.
In Gonder they say Habesha not abesha.

Telatej in Gonder it is prounuced HABESHA not Abesha.

Usually Tigres both Tigrai and Eritreans pronounce the word as Habesha written or verbal but the amaras and the rest pronounce it as Abesha.
Growing up in Addis I never heard anybody that is amara pronounce the word with an "H" it's always Abesha. The guy is from Gonder (amara).
