Topsy Turvey #1 - ADOPTED!

Turvey came to us in December 2006 with a 24-horse impound from Washington County. He was just under 1 year old. He was thin, infested with parasites, and knew nothing of human contact. Since then, Turvey has made a full recovery. He received 30-days off-site training, where he learned basic ground manners, round pen work, and was started w/t under saddle. He is now going w/t/c under saddle and, while still very green, is coming along in huge leaps and bounds. Since returning to our farm, Sara (our staff trainer) has been working with Turvey in a bitless bridle. This video is only the second time that Sara has ridden him with a bit, which shows his willingness and desire to please. He's still a bit of a noodle under saddle, but he's showing great promise!
