Why is there a metal fire in a litihium ion battery? I thought, that in lithium ion battery no lithium metal is present. So, why not extinct with water?

@ximinezcardinal well, that is true, but still, there is no Li metal inside a Lithium ion battery...
so there would be no metal fire at all...
