This is a Christmas mix I did to the classic Joan Crawford radio broadcast from the mid-forties with Christina and Christopher. Please listen ONLY if you have a sense of humor. This is NOT meant to be taken literally. I am not mocking child abuse, and obviously think that is very wrong, but I am satirizing the "over the top" Mommie Dearest hatchet job that Christina did on Joan. Joan Crawford was a GREAT actress and star, and according to her other children, a wonderful mother. Also, according to her contemporaries, Joan was a strict but good mother, and Christina was simply a problem child. Joan was also known as a very loyal and thoughtful friend who made time for the people she cared about. Enjoy and laugh at the tragically ludicrous parody of the "Mommie Dearest" book. Too bad Joan couldn't have taken a real pop at Christina after she published the dreadful book, but of course, Christina waited until Joan was dead and defenseless to slander her.

  • Very well rehearsed. I wonder how long "Mummy" forced them to learn their lines. Christina said they never saw anything they recieved after their birthdays and holidays. Except if it was from her.

  • Which song samples did you use for it? Nice work!

  • Thank you so very much. I told you I would like at both. Great. Pleasure meeting you at the 440 on Sunday for Sunday Furry Sunday.

Respectfully and hugs, Chuck the Coat Check Guy.

  • Truly haunting. Just hearing the regiment and routine Joan had constructed for the "family" gave me an up set stomach.
