Many taverns across the Valley feature karaoke, but few are as fun as this small show bar located inside Hurricane Bay. From Wednesdays through Sundays, participants can belt out such karaoke standards as Duran Duran's "Hungry Like the Wolf" or Reba McEntire's "Fancy" on a small stage, while accessorizing their outrageous acts (inebriated or otherwise) with such props as a guitar, an oversize foam cowboy hat, or an antique bugle. Various emcees offer up skits and trivia contests between singers.

I sang this song in my kitchen via myspace karaoke. Today is the first time that I heard how the original version goes. I love it. I just sat down oneday and said how would Gladys do it. Then out popped my version. Gladys gets all the glory.

This just typifies what I hate about karaoke. You actually get a good singer like this on stage and people are too busy getting drunk and trying to get laid instead of listening. Great job on this song. You should be perfoming someplace better.
