Mario Kart Wii - February 2009, 1st Competition 1'03"110 (Non-SC)

February 02, 2009 - My non-SC-highscore of the 19th Mario Kart Wii Nintendo Event (Competition 1 February 01-10, 2009).

This time Nintendo failed completely in announcing this competition. They announced a driving-through-rings kart only event on GBA Bowser Castle 3, but when the new competition started, a time trial on the battle course Block Plaza appeared LOL

Nevertheless this competition is very good imo. It's classic driving instead of lucky bouncing (like it was the task in many former competition during the last months).
Imo unfortunately there was found a shortcut (jumping from the red block around the restrictions on the purple block, i.e. lucky bouncing O_o) fastly which is rather hard to do and saves only ~1 second per lap, so I decided not to do it.

» Note: The WR of this has been 54"332.

Normally you shold be able to choose bikes as well in this competition.
