ISILDURS BANE live at GOUVEIA ART ROCK 2004 - MIND vol. 4 suite

This is an exclusive Gouveia Art Rock official YouTube channel video. Isildurs Bane are a swedish progressive avantgarde ensemble. IB have been around since the second half of the 1970s, as a progressive rock/jazz band. Due to composer and project leader Mats Johansson's exquisite work they started to move into avantgarde contemporary music territory since the end of the 1980s. Albums such as "Cheval" (1989), "The Voyage (a trip to elsewhere)" (1992) or the MIND (Music Investigating New Dimensions) series, established a name for IB on the progressive music scene. Now they are one of its most original projects ever. Their concert at Gouveia Art Rock's second edition was a huge success and it is, still today, remembered by fans as a truly historical landmark in the festival's early evolution. They would return to the festival, with their IB Expo project, in 2007. This video was taken from the Gouveia Art Rock 2004 DVD, and shows the very begining of IB's fabulous concert on the April 25th 2004.
