Why is it every northern soul video ever have all the lights on?

Was this the case back in the day, or was it just for the video filming production?

The videos that I have taken witht he lights on, have ususally been taken at the end of the night, when the DJs play a couple of track to see people out of the venue, but as you can see, this never happens everyone keeps dancing til the last note has been played.

If you take a look at my video entitled Johnny Boy, you'll see that this one has been shot during the night when the lights were out, it has a great feel to it, but its quite difficult to see the action.

Great music and lots of memories, but I see that the dance mooves are all that bit more subdued and that is a cruel camera angle as it picks up all of the solar panels on the guys heads....lol...........keep the faith and thanks for posting.charlie brown...falkirk.
