  • Are you planning to have a rooster so your eggs are fertilize meaning you could have baby chickens?

  • No they make too much noise. But we might buy fertilized eggs if one of the hens goes broody.

  • question for you guys - how old are your hens now and how many eggs have they been laying/how frequently?

  • #when this video was shot we were getting 1 most days some days 2. The chickens were about 34 weeks old I think.

  • she was chicken of the chickens!

  • Did you taste it ?

  • Compost the manure and then mix it into the soil next spring. Your garden will grow like you never imagined it could. It's the best thing you can add to your garden.

  • You can build raised flower boxes to fit the bottom of your chicken coup. The chickens will fertilize and till up the soil. Poop problem solved. Just rotate the coup from one box to another as the seasons change and various harvests come in. It won't work for perennials. use the flower boxes (also called raised beds) for plants that fruit and die, or are killed by harvesting.

  • My little bro' claims rabbit urine is great for fertilizing.

  • I am beginning to think your straight,A gay guy would of helped her with the baby, she even acted like she was going to hand the baby over to you when she wanted to touch the chickens.

  • Well that went over well.

  • Chicken manure is high octane fertilizer! Your sunflowers will grow 20ft. tall!

  • awesome dude :P good work :D did you must know by now the amount of feed chickens need ! any take on that and how we could feed the world 5 times over IF we where vegetarian!

  • Lol at her with the chickens, that was cute. :)
