@Jeff99GS no offense man but there are cars at dragweek that run high 6s low 7s and they drive sevral hundred miles to the race and there dependable on top of that just you tube dragweek larry larson ran 6.97 in his nova
-
fack...what kind of car was he racing against? the batmobile?
-
is this the 2.0 liter motor or 2.4block/dohc head?
-
you have it backwards its been on the street but its not really street legal
-
i know john and that is his car. brent rau has a rwd 2g eclipse. if you mixed those two up you need to get off the internet
-
@TEFLONTHADON no thats brent rau car, ive seen video of shepard driving on the freeway before after running at the salt flats. He still has the stock interior.
-
it maybe street legal and thats cool as fuck! but this car is not driven on the street!! this is a trailer queen car! being street legal doesent always mean it runs in the street all the time...
-
Yea seriously fukdan millen..7 sec mustangs are everywhere, they are nothing special. John Shep is something special and unique, i dont care what anyone says. To do 190 mph in an awd car is absolutely insane. The only thing that i can really think of that makes a big difference between the Evo's trap speed and shep is aerodynamics, once you getting up to speeds that high aerodynamics plays a huge role, and the evo's body is like pushing a breadbox into a hurricane. plus i think shep makes more
-
its clueless to compare millen to shep's unibody dsm...(not for long)
shep might already have the 25.1e spec chassis ready for sub 7.5's.....
can anyone explain how a 1100awhp unibody 1g dsm traps 190+mph?????????
when a 1100awhp unibody evo traps just over 170mph????????? wtf
Dude...he has OHIO plates on his car that say 7SEC AWD. when he was running 7.97 it was still OHIO street legal... There is a video on here somewhere of him driving it on the street in NORWALK ohio during the DSM SHOOTOUT.
THESE are FACTS.
It may not be street legal anymore...but at one time he ran 7.97 with street plates. I have seen it.
I would go as far to say that is the fastest recorded street drivable car out of any make or model car.

if you want to compare Dan millen to anyone compare him to brent rau not shepherd. Millen's stang is no where nears what shepherds car is if your talking about streetabilty, millens ride is a full out tube chasis tubed car, where shep is full interiored, uni body on a ten inch tired. Brent Rau runs 6.80's with a 4g63. now there is something you can compared Dan millens lame as ride too.
