In version 2.1 they added several new user areas as well to increase the functionality of Joomla and Drupal templates.

Do to the popularity of the old office products, many programs copied and still do copy the general look and feel of the menus. It allowed users of various programs to feel "at home" when navigating the working environment. I believe that the Artisteer developers are no different and must have had that in mind when putting this program together. Thank you for the comment.

Very disappointed in this program.

Not planning to buy this if the functionality/customization is o extremely limited

You cant use flash (.swf) for banners

You cant customize many many design elements (many options are not available with every object/layout or arent possible at all)...this is not worth the money for now.

Just find a template from the internet and use that, it will probably fit your needs way better..

The new 3.1 Standard Edition is absolutely FANTASTIC! I was using the Home & Academic Edition to build wordpress themes amd just upgraded yesterday because there was a customization feature I needed. With Artisteer Standard you can design a wordpress theme to rival the big guys like NFL dot Com and the like. The Standard addition may not be the right choice for someone looking to build a single site but if your are a pro and learn how to use it. It is money in the bank! We love Artisteer!

@ArtisteerHelp I've purchased the regular edition of Artisteer 2 and have problems using the templates that it generates.

After creating, exporting, and uploading my new template to joomla 1.6 I cannot get ANY menus to appear with this template.

Not a little problem! What's up? Are you telling me your software isn't ready for joomla 16 but you're selling it as it were, or did you always leave out the part about having to tinker with joomla before the template can work?

Artisteer 2.6 and 3.0 will both work with Joomla 1.5 & 1.6.

Of course you have to make changes in Joomla..it is a content management system, while Artisteer is not.

@tejaslem , i have figure it out how to put'em on my wordpress but now ive got another problem. Is there any plugin widget or whatever to make something like the ones on socialmediatoday com have?? The one with "Connect with us" if you can look there. It drives me crazy i have desperately googled for days and nothing like that. I really wish a social box to include follow me on facebook, twitter rss plus facebook like button all in one badge on the sidebar of my wordpress?! Please help tnx

@susan55555 They are working on that part. Version 3 allows content filling for the HTML template. However the original purpose of the program was to design templates for CMS such as Joomla, Drupal and Wordpress and others. It is not a web design program like Freeway.

@techgoggles What do you mean by adsense enabled. If you are asking if the the themes for WP are widget enabled for WP 3.x the answer is yes it does. You would insert adsense through plugins, not a theme or template.

@gogoasacenusie You don't add the buttons in Artisteer. They are added through plugins, extensions etc for the particular CMS that you are creating the template for.
