  • Those things are fucking dangerous.

  • Just look at how elastic these highly toxic snakes are.

    They are very reluctant to get out of your way and if cornered are quick to strike.

    Unlike many snakes the Black Mamba will always invenomate its intended victim and without the correct antivenom a bite can kill an adult human in under three hours.

    One of the worlds most feared snakes which can grow well over 3meters in length.

    Best viewed behind glass.

  • saw one in london zoo in 1990 and I still think about it's eyes staring at me-im off ,like matey.thankyou to the keeper who told me about them and said "we only got this one today" bless him as he really was cool!

  • At the London Zoo a couple years ago the black mamba was in the Harry Potter python cage. It was funny to see a dozen kids pressed against the wall reading the Harry Potter posters, inches from a huge, hyperactive black mamba and completely ignoring it.
