wow thats a beautiful 1911! Did you have that nickel plated by Springfield Armory? ow much does work like that cost. Im thinking of getting a GI in parkerized, then blued and having the barrel assembly polished to high nickel

@SkipandDill I didn't have it done. But I'll ask the guy I bought it from and let you know. I plan on putting up a better video with better lighting... and not messing up the spring this time.

i just watched the video again and i think that your recoil spring was put in backwards. i was always taught that the tighter coils of the spring go towards the barrel link and the open end of the spring goes into the spring cap. just fyi. but i still like your music choice.
