and splash mountain is a refurbish, there used to be a ride with the same animatronic critters called america sings by Imagineer marc Davis, who happened to also work on the film, he's one of the legendary 9 old men

I'll tell you why, disney do and have got rid of rides throughout the years but disney has the Signiture Mountain attractions and belives in re-ride value, a large scale animatronic water ride doesn't get old, even though song of the south has been banned due to its content which is daft and I do own it, can't understand why, the ride has its own story told about brer Rabbit who exsisted before song of the south, disney will never demolish their mountain attractions, they'll refurbish.

i know! lets see, go to Disney and you ride Splash Mountain. a much older film than BTTF that they aren't even aloud to show. Almost every kid has never seen Song of the South or know who any of the characters from the ride are. even adults. and they haven't got rid of that and probably wont, (or atleast anytime soon) why do universal have to. They are making rides now not even based on any films. The new 'Rip Ride Rocket' . why did universal have to get rid of BTTF? :( :( :(

I think it's from the Horizions attraction at Epcot but I'm not sure where.

It's actually from the movie The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. The song's called the Ecstasy of Gold by Ennio Morricone. Also, Metallica has used it to open their concerts.
