The second version of our cover of Passion/Sanctuary by Utada Hikaru. This time taken from a music contest at school, feature guitar, more bass, and a big recycled stage from our last school production.

@LittleMissAngel1231 We decided on a speed, but because we were in a rush that night, we forgot to bring a metronome, so it starts slower and speeds up to normal speed :p

Great cover! It's nice to see a full band covering one of her songs (especially this one).

I've been wanting to cover this song the same way with some people I know (but maybe with one more keyboard).

Have you guys considered doing an actual studio recording of your cover?

@purefault We did consider it at one point but we never really got the time, we're working a lot on our own music, but this performance was recorded via the mixing desk so there is a totally clean MP3 of it. This video uses about 50/50 sound from the video and the recording.

This cover is really awesome. I like how you guys took it in a unique direction.

As someone who was in choir for 11 years, I think that your vocalist has a really pretty voice! She just needs to let go with it. You guys should really try and encourage that from her. She has a really nice, mellow, sultry thing going for her and she just needs to put everything else out of her mind and go with the flow.

One thing that always helped me was to think to myself, "Remember, I LIKE to sing."

being a true fan of the arts in general, and of this beautiful song which came into my life due to a great video game...! I must admit you guys have performed this song the way it deserves to be played! with talent and passion....! really glad I found this video

If I could give any advice to the singer would be to be more secure of your voice and just let go! the other musicians did a great job and I actually think the change of tempo gave it a "live" touch! keep working hard!

Great ass cover. Band sounded great. Im loving your version of the break. And the singer sounds amazing. Its hard to do one of Hikki's songs but,you all nailed it.
