➤ Our only chance - Arthur/Morgana

So this is it, my entry for the first BOIT challenge "Rewind and Rewrite". Our task was to take a plot line from any fandom and create a scenario that causes the original outcome of the story to be completely different. Also it was necessary that the plot is understandable in the video, without giving too much informations. I hope I archived that. Altogether it wasn't easy too find fitting music, a good theme and above all to edit all the voice-overs was pretty challenging, but well, I guess I'm more or less satisfied with the result. It isn't perfect, but I tried my best.
And I'm sorry that there is no HD option, but my Sony Vegas crashed five times, while I tried to render it in a higher resolution, so yeah, I had to render it that way.

The original story:
In episode 2.07, Uther, the king of Camelot, calls the witchfinder Aredian, because there are suspicious things going on in Camelot, which point to sorcery. So Arediean arrives at Camelot and approaches Gaius in town and is introduced to Merlin. He requests Merlin's appearance in his chambers as he has some questions for him. During the questioning, Merlin denies having seen anything magical. Aredian remains unconvinced and asks Merlin to prove his innocence before letting him leave. In Uther's presence, witnesses brought to him give their accounts of other events of sorcery. Merlin is named as a suspect, much to Arthur's disbelief and Gaius' denial.

My story:
Instead of suspecting Merlin as Sorcerer, the witchfinder suspects Lady Morgana. Uther immediately arrests her, and sentence her to death. The guards take her away and put her inside the prision. Arthur is appalled and worried about Morgana and tries to convince his father that she isn't guilty but Uther doesn't listen and stick to his decision. So Arthur sneaks into the jail in the night and frees Morgana. Together they escape from Camelot and Uther.

I hope all the voice-overs are understandable, but if not, here they are:

Morgana: "Every day, I must look Uther in the eye, knowing, that if he would discover who I really am, he would have me killed."

Arthur: "Don't worry, I won't let any harm come to you."

Uther: "Send for the witchfinder."

The witchfinder (Arediean): "My methods are invariable, my findings incontestable. The facts point to one person and one person alone. The Lady Morgana.

Arthur: "No!"

Uther: "And under these circumstances, I have no choice, but to sentence you to death."

Arthur: "Father, I think you're wrong."

Uther: "My decision is final. Take her away."

Morgana: "No!"

Arthur: "Morgana..."

Arthur: "It's me, It's me... Morgana."

Morgana: "Arthur..."

Arthur: "Our only chance is to get out of Camelot."
