The little hoopers and I all agree that the former record, in our humble opinion, was achieved by momentum alone and therefore not valid (we could be wrong, we suppose). Your record was all hooping. :D

Of course this is a dumb record! records in general are dumb and this is one of the dumbest. But it's all I got. I definitely need lessons in how to be cool. I also need lessons in how to be more manly- apparently when i hula-hoop a 100 pound tractor tire I turn a manly thing into a girly thing with a few shakes of my hips. Please help! thanks!

@crs654321 You I am performing at several fairs rodeos, basketball games etc in the next few months if you want my schedule, just ask...you can come say that to my face.

Congrats on the record. Must've taken a lot of practice. Had no idea that you've been hooping for so long, and had heard an alternative modern hoop dance history. But it seems as though you don't necessarily call yourself a "hoop dancer" per se.
Nice video recap too.

Thanks a lot! now I really feel old! here's an example of my hooping ancient-ness: i had been hooping 5 years when i sold the String Cheese incident there first 5 hula hoops in telluride.
