I am the HRE (Very Hard) and Venice (my ally) betrayed me and took 3 of my settlements. But then I was in a very very bitter war with France. Denmark (my most reliable ally) is under attack from Norway and Scotland?!?. So right now I've removed Venice (and the 5 northern italic cities) from the equation and Poland just launched a very large Blitzkrieg (ironic.). I am losing these wars. And France will only seems to be ready for peace if I offer my italic expo. What do u guys think i should do?

@DanMarik I liked this story :p

One of the things so unique to Medieval 2 was the sheer lack of honour and huge wars fought between factions, especially in V Hard, which I always found fun ^^

Anyway, I recommend to fight the battles you can win, and retreat the men where you can't win. You may need to lose a few settlements, but reinforce and recruit more men and then head your own counter attack later. Generally though we can't really help you without being you, so good luck anyway! :p

argh, i hate the time waitign for turns.. does anyone know a mod for faster turns in ss 6.2?

@brockyhocky Spacebar should always speed up turn speed, in every total war game. Left click does the same but only for single moves.

my game always freezes on turn 51 on any difficulty as any faction...this only happens in the early era campaign anyone know what to do?

@TheAussie00 that's not what he meant....its stainless steel, which with all its features has a much larger loading time between turns

@brockyhocky at start of campaign you can select an option where you can ignore enemys turns (their moves.diplomatic stuff ETC) :') hope this helps

@Flueeeee Just find the medieval2.preference file in the main folder and change " banners = 0" to " banners = 1"
