  • @StrawberryFairyShoes It's a French song (Les Feuilles Mortes), for which the original lyrics is in French by Jacques Prévert. I guess the only Mercer adapted into English. If you want to hear a version with the original lyrics can hear the version of Yves Montand.

  • evans

  • @okdenny 2 dislikes. look whos made a new account.

  • @13centnickel Joseph Kosma composed the music, Prévert the original words in french, both in 1946. It was called "Les Feuilles Mortes". Mercer wrote the english lyrics a year later.

  • Classic. I could listen to this for hours on end.

  • @okdenny It's quite natural if ppl nowadays aren't aware of Bill Evans' talent and his legendary music. Let them enjoy Justin Bieber. At the same time, let the few of us who still appreciate the legend enjoy ourselves while we still can.

Let's keep the legend alive as long as we can, that's it.

    Thanks

  • @floftyAl Mainly him in the band. I have not investigated too much research into his solo work. But I will tell you something, I notice talent when I see it haha. Frusciante always encapsulated my attention because I was heavily inspired by hendrix almost exclusively at the time, and frusciante is also extremely influenced by hendrix so for me he was perfect. i made this account so many years ago though, but Frusciante is still the man haha. we have similar stories, so he is close to me in music

  • si existe el cielo los tres se juntaron y tocan en el paraiso para Cristo. Hasta siempre

    Paul Motian.

  • It's truly amazing how Bill managed to bring us all together.

A gentle soul with magic in his heart.

  • @Fruscianteistheman i noticed your screen name. are you a fan of fruciante solo work most notably Niandra Lades. my friend is really into John and I was just wonder if you really loved this work

  • sort of sad that people can't enjoy a video without investing attention into the likes/dislikes a video. Actually, its very sad...
