Test details:

The Hyundai Tucson was introduced in the 2005 model year. The Kia Sportage was redesigned for the 2005 model year after a two-year absence from the market. Hyundai and Kia have told the Institute that the 2008 models are sufficiently modified that the the frontal ratings for 2005-07 models do not carry over.

Restraints/dummy kinematics — Dummy movement was well controlled. During rebound, the dummy's head hit the B-pillar.

Injury measures — Measures taken from the head, neck, and chest indicate low risk of injuries to these body regions in a crash of this severity. Forces on the left tibia indicate that injuries would be likely for the left lower leg. Forces on the right tibia and right foot indicate that injuries would be possible for the right lower leg and foot. Head acceleration from the B-pillar hit was low.

its safe because you may break your bones but STILL ALIVE!! you may want to check other youtube videos where the car structure collapse and dummies got completely smashed, decapitated, splited, etc.

@Tylmarande14 depends from which country ur from, the Sorento is out from 2002-2009 and a new body is now available, but kind of expensive, in the US it's around 25000$ the 2010 sorento and the sportage is way cheaper, and even more now since a new body is coming in 2011 check it out on my profile :)
