Simon Reeve discovers that more than 4,000 bears are held captive inside tiny cages in Vietnam, and repeatedly cut open so that bile can be extracted from their gall bladders, leaving agonising and infected wounds. The bile is believed to have medicinal properties. Simon also visits the Moon Bear Rescue Centre run by the Animals Asia Foundation in northern Vietnam.
Simon's epic trip around the Tropic of Cancer is his toughest journey yet. The spectacular adventure takes him through 18 countries on the northern edge of Earths tropical zone. Starting in Mexico he travels east through the glorious Caribbean, to a stunning desert oasis in North Africa, across India and Asia, and on a dangerous, covert incursion into the remote hills of western Burma.
What pisses me off is that they know there being cunts to these bears.

This is why I love the BBC, they are not scared to show something to the world that needs to seen, needs to be stopped.
