Ron Paul on Federal Reserve, banking and economy

The Federal Reserve was created to protect citizens from financial melt downs. So when banks tumble like the did recently, people won't lose all of their money with the bankrupted bank. The GOP and Dems were both going to bail them out regardless, however socialist and uncapitalistic it is. But for the people who were members of these banks it is damn lucky for them that we don't live in a real capitalistic system. Looks to me like everyone supports socialism but just won't be open about it.

Are you joking ? The Federal Reserve is a private central bank, not a government organization. Its purpose is to make money, not so called "protect citizens from financial melt downs". Nobody in the congress or even president of USA can overrule the action the fed takes unless they want it. ( check out obama's deception, greens pan said it himself )

Well it did bail out the citizens, if the banks wouldn't have been bailed out the people with those banks would have lost everything. And if it indeed is private, lets admit we're socialists and let the government run it. Isn't the fed the government savings account?

Just watch The Obama Deception and you will get a better picture. After all, it is not my business since I am not american, so do whatever you want.

Paul is passing blame from Congress/Senate, to the Fed. The Fed is a lender, the US Gov is the borrower. You can't blame your bank if you barrow too much money. The Fed has no interest in destroying the US currency or the US financial system. They run many central banks in almost every nation of the world. It would be tremendously bad business for a central bank to ruin a major country(USA). Paul is blaming the Fed for his fellow politicians outrageous spending habits.

Why? U.S. still the best country in the world, can not have the best of everyone? Social services and free as socialists, can pay taxes, that the state protects workers, so that among all township enterprises do, to compete with large companies, like the Communists and besides what is permitted free market. that being the best that they have the best. Why not? The best deserve the best worldwide

Is the gold standard good? Who owns the gold? Who ever owns the monopoly of gold will always determine the rates. I agree the FED has to go.

To Ron Paul, WE HAVE decided that something must be done and that we want a Gold Standard and that we want YOU as our next President. For the sake of our country, please leave the congress and focus all of your energy on getting elected in 2012 so that you can help us end the fed and put a stop to the raping of our country. We are all so sick of it, yet we feel powerless. What should we do? Ron Paul please step up and do something to save the USA!
