  • Man' you got to pay close attention to what the hell your doing! This is awful to hear about anybody dying like that. That is so very sad and tragic.

  • You have no fucking idea how much that would hurt

  • how old was this worker maybe 16, don't let kids do a mans job !

  • @tonym144 He was being sarcastic

  • @tonym144 I'm thinking there was sarcasm involved there

  • do you think he died instantly from that??

  • i find it should have senseors that detect objects that are not wood and stop chipping

  • @R063R13 My thoughts entirely and I'm only 16 BUT! Just think of the hassel it will course. You wouldn't be able to go get more brush and it would take longer. It's a great idea but it would cost us and clients so much more. All you need to to know how to use them properly.

I work with the same kind of chipper the man was pulled into. I know what my feet should never go in the hopper EVER and I should stand to the side.

  • who in the hell would want an emergency stop button on that machine? if you are pulled through and someone activates the emergency stop, i think you would rather want that machine to finish the job before you have to live a life on someones else's air

  • When chipping brush at work, I always take the extra second to look back at my co-workers and make sure they are ok and not being pulled through the chipper. Or for newer employees, I stand nearby with my hand on the control bar. The problem with people these days is that everyone is in a big rush. All they see is dollar signs. They don't think about safety until someone or themselves are getting pulled through a chipper.
