Ron Paul is Not 'Ending' Student Loans
There are many headlines out there now stemming from his Meet the Press interview yesterday claiming that Ron Paul wants to end student loans. Well no, in fact, though he abolishes the Department of Education along with four other federal departments, the student loan part is taken out and handled elsewhere. Everyone recognizes we have [...]

Ron Paul Explains Conservatism on Meet the Press
Last week in a post titled "Ron Paul is Pure American Conservatism," I noted: "The Los Angeles Times contrasts Ron Paul with the other presidential candidates: The basic question posed by the likes of Republicans Herman Cain, Mitt Romney and Rick Perry is: 'Would this person do a better job as president than Barack Obama [...]

Paul v Romney -- Donations Show Stark Difference
Paul raised most from active military, Romney tapped big banks LAKE JACKSON, Texas -- A recent independent analysis of candidates' campaign contributions reveals an interesting disparity between the Ron Paul 2012 Presidential Campaign and frontrunner Mitt Romney's campaign. Romney's top supporters appear to be made up of big banks while, unsurprisingly, Paul's top contributors were [...]SYNOPSIS:
America is the greatest nation in human history. Our respect for individual liberty, free markets, and limited constitutional government produced the strongest, most prosperous country in the world. But, we have drifted far from our founding principles, and America is in crisis. Ron Paul's "Restore America" plan slams on the brakes and puts America on a return to constitutional government. It is bold but achievable. Through the bully pulpit of the presidency, the power of the Veto, and, most importantly, the united voice of freedom-loving Americans, we can implement fundamental reforms.

DELIVERS A TRUE BALANCED BUDGET IN YEAR THREE OF DR. PAUL'S PRESIDENCY:

Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate who doesn't just talk about balancing the budget, but who has a full plan to get it done.

SPENDING:

Cuts $1 trillion in spending during the first year of Ron Paul's presidency, eliminating five cabinet departments (Energy, HUD, Commerce, Interior, and Education), abolishing the Transportation Security Administration and returning responsibility for security to private property owners, abolishing corporate subsidies, stopping foreign aid, ending foreign wars, and returning most other spending to 2006 levels.

ENTITLEMENTS:

Honors our promise to our seniors and veterans, while allowing young workers to opt out. Block grants Medicaid and other welfare programs to allow States the flexibility and ingenuity they need to solve their own unique problems without harming those currently relying on the programs.

CUTTING GOVERNMENT WASTE:
Makes a 10% reduction in the federal workforce, slashes Congressional pay and perks, and curbs excessive federal travel. To stand with the American People, President Paul will take a salary of $39,336, approximately equal to the median personal income of the American worker.

TAXES:

Lowers the corporate tax rate to 15%, making America competitive in the global market. Allows American companies to repatriate capital without additional taxation, spurring trillions in new investment. Extends all Bush tax cuts. Abolishes the Death Tax. Ends taxes on personal savings, allowing families to build a nest egg.

REGULATION:

Repeals ObamaCare, Dodd-Frank, and Sarbanes-Oxley. Mandates REINS-style requirements for thorough congressional review and authorization before implementing any new regulations issued by bureaucrats. President Paul will also cancel all onerous regulations previously issued by Executive Order.

MONETARY POLICY:

Conducts a full audit of the Federal Reserve and implements competing currency legislation to
strengthen the dollar and stabilize inflation.

CONCLUSION:

Dr. Paul is the only candidate with a plan to cut spending and truly balance the budget. This is the only plan that will deliver what America needs in these difficult times: Major regulatory relief, large spending cuts, sound monetary policy, and a balanced budget.

  • Ron Paul Supporters, watch the video called "Ron Paul Reacts to new ad" Ron Paul is AWESOME!

  • @nagasnharpes How would going to the gold standard take liberties away?

  • @zcraggstone Watch some of the Charlotte Iserbyt videos. You don't know how true that is!

  • @nagasnharpes Isolationist means to keep to oneself. Ron Paul is about trading, and talking to everyone. He is just against hand outs to other countries. He understands that the Fed can't be taken away over nite. First thing he wants to do is audit the Fed, and stop printing more money. He looked to history... Currency not backed by gold, silver has never lasted long. Gold is going up, because our dollar is going down.

  • I so agree with everything he stands for. thanks Judge. I thought you had become just another Fox croney.

  • @nagasnharpes - Ron Paul abides by the Constitution. What makes you think he's an isolationist? Has he ever said he's an isolationist? Doesn't he want to engage in trade with other countries? You have some serious misunderstandings about what Ron Paul says, stands for, and wants to do. Best you go back and re-learn about Ron Paul.

  • I like most of Ron Paul's beliefs, being a libertarian myself, but he is too much of an isolationist and his idea of going back to the gold standard is just bad. The FED is pretty crappy, but going to the gold standard would allow the gov't to take personal liberties away and decrease our economic standing even further. Otherwise I believe he is a great candidate

  • @God4577 Dr. Sen. Ron Paul is running as a republican candidate. Massive support is here, it's all over youtube and will be seen soon enough at the polls. Being a 21 year old you should be able to see and understand this fact. I do not feel either of them are in the pockets of special interests. If you have any facts to show stating otherwise then please share them. I hope you vote as a "republican" and make an informed decision for the liberty and future of our great nation.

  • @StAnger561to770 I wish you were right. I really do. Then I look and see that they just aren't republicans. Unless massive support is to be found, you just won't get them the candidacy. From there it would be easy.

  • I feel that a Ron Paul - Andrew Napalotano ticket would be unstoppable because they speak the truth and are not in the pockets of special interests. Sounds like a great campaign pair to me!
