is this engine pinging or perhaps noisy lifters? Any one got suggestions or had similar problem & how was it fixed?

    You have to sacrifice thing for power in this world... Thats why civic do 300K miles with no power and ls1 don't...

  • Monkey see monkey do. Its your lifters or cam lobes by the sounds of it, too much clearance either way

  • Nice engine.

  • Pinging will sound much louder, so it's not detination. Try cleaning your fuel injectors and using higher octane, if that doesn't work, have the valve timing readjusted.

  • thats not pinging re-adjust the valve timing.

  • Bad quality if it's pinging run premium or advance timing don't do both! And valve adjustment is easy plus it's better to have them make a little noise then none at all
