I agree. Some Jap G fans do go overboard. But ive gotten over it. For me, as a regular movie, it was alright, but as a Godzilla movie it blowed.

@MrSamas35 Well yeah, kind of true but some fans go a little too overboard on the hate. I do like the Japanese version way more, but heck I did enjoy the little American remake, ugh but I wish that it was a little bit better like how the story was going to be before the new guy took over the movie. But oh well, hope this 2012 remake is much better.

Its not that he died. Its how he died. Godzilla died by missles in the american version, while the Jap Godzilla died from the oxygen destroyer. And his name is Godzilla in the US in Japan his name is Gojira. 1. People who hate the American godzilla are not racist.You have no proof if there racist or not, and just because you hate something made by America doesnt make you racist.

@Rylexander I agree, but dont forget this is the real Godzilla. Main reason why i said that is because "Godzilla" the name is an American rename of the Japanese Gojira. And oh guess what Gojira died in the first movie do I have to take the "Go" out of him, ha

@MrSamas35 Um, I'm a big fan of Godzilla, ever since I saw the first movie Godzilla King of the Monsters an watched all the others, then saw this one, this one (Godzilla 1998) was one of my faves, was so awesome. and yes it is Godzilla, the name "Godzilla" is the American rename of Gojira. And so what if he died, so did the japs version,. and American Godzilla's cartoons were epic.

@Rylexander It would be like Japan taking king kong and Turing him into a spider monkey that fights giant lizards instead of trexes and having a Japanese girl instead of Ann the king kong main character
