Hidan is actually from the village of Hot Springs. A load of people mix it up with the Rain Village.

Technically the village Hidan's in now is the village hidden in the Not-Appearing-In-This-Show-Any
-More-Because-I-Died-Like-Kaka shi-and-Hinata :D. And Jiraya and shizune and Orochimaru that one guy with the lightiningy knuckles that got boned by hidan and his partner -

I am not saying this is hidan, but that he is from the same village than hidan.
