Babbage Difference Engine in Motion

Designed by the father of computing in 1847 but never built -- until recently. This is the second of only two Babbage difference engines in the world, completed in 2008 and located at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA until the end of this year.

Is it just me or does the back of the machine scream double helix. Over a hundred years before it was confirmed by Watson and Crick?

Nice video. Seen this a little on "The Machine that changed the world" that was grate. You edit this one nice. Doing the video with him talking when you got the video when he was not. So it all fits good. Nice video of it. I can tell you like this. I think I would take a video like this if I could see it. Thank you!
